Why does the side brush on my robot vacuum cleaner come off when the vacuum passes over metallic objects?

The side brush is attached with a magnet so you can change the round brush quickly and easily without using tools.

If the robot vacuum cleaner passes over a metallic object (such as the base of a lamp), the attraction may be stronger and the side brush may detach.
