DecaBDE is not used in our plastics. The black plastics that come into contact with food contain no recycled content and comply fully with the strict legal regulations for food-contact materials. The same applies to the colorants used in these materials.
The housing of the Thermomix® TM7 is made from high-quality plastic. All parts of the TM7 that come into contact with food are free from Bisphenol A (BPA). Various black plastics are used, including polypropylene (PP).
