TM6
Your TM6 is directly and automatically synchronizing with your account when you turn on the device and it is connecting to your Cookidoo account. This is done with the integrated Wifi module.
Recipes bookmarked on Cookidoo®, organised in your recipe lists or copied into the weekly planner are easily transferred to the Thermomix® to follow guided cooking recipes.
TM5
For TM5 you need the cook-key to synchronize with Cookidoo. The Cook-Key® does not synchronise itself automatically. You can decide for yourself how often you want to synchronise. To carry out the synchronisation, you need to attach the Cook-Key® to the Thermomix® TM5 and have the Thermomix® TM5 connected correctly to the Internet.
To start synchronization, you have to tap on the synchronization icon on your Thermomix TM5 display. Please refer to this article if you need more information about the Cook-Key.
Recipes bookmarked on Cookidoo®, organised in your recipe lists or copied into the weekly planner are easily transferred this way to the Thermomix® to follow guided cooking recipes.
Please note that you can’t synchronise while cooking. That’s why the synchronisation icon on the Thermomix® display is disabled during the cooking process.
If you remove the Cook-Key® from the Thermomix® TM5 during the synchronisation, the process cannot be successfully completed. If this happens, then just synchronise again.
If you have added TM6 -exclusive recipes to your recipe lists or bookmarks, these recipes will only be synchronized as a dummy. You cannot perform the guided cooking on TM5 with them.
