The Thermomix® locking mechanism will stop and re-open if it senses even the slightest obstruction. This means that it’s impossible to get your fingers trapped in the mechanism, for example.
Having said that, please don’t touch the locking arms while they are moving and never leave children to use the appliance unsupervised.
