The following are the recommended modem/router settings that should be met in order for the Thermomix® to successfully connect to the wireless network:
- WLAN router with the following technical requirements:
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n
- 2.4 GHz or 5.2 GHz frequency band
- WEP, WPA or WPA2 encryption (not WPA2 Enterprise)
- Connections via proxy servers or manual IP / DNS settings are not supported (only via DHCP)
- Internet connection is required for data transfer, for best performance we recommend a download speed of at least 128 Kbit / s.
If you continue to have problems connecting your Thermomix® to your wireless network, please contact your ISP to verify that you have met the above technical, router requirements. When contacting your ISP to set up a direct connection between your device and the Cookidoo® Platform, you may need to enter the MAC address of your Thermomix® device (settings-> version and updates).
Please also verify that you are using IPv6 on your router. IPv6 is not currently supported on the Thermomix® TM6 device. In this case, it is necessary to change the IPv6 settings to IPv4.
To verify this, please open https://www.showmyip.com/ from a device that is also connected to the router.
