March 31st, 2022 is officially "Decision Day" for all Cookidoo® users. On this day, you will have to decide latest if you want to upgrade your Cookidoo® membership and keep having access to "Created Recipes" and all future Cookidoo® features to come or if you would rather like to stay in the old Cookidoo® environment. You can upgrade at any other moment in time later, but once you decided to upgrade, you cannot go back.
How can I upgrade my Cookidoo® subscription?
You will have the following opportunities to upgrade:
- you can click on the link within the service e-mails,
- you can upgrade on Cookidoo within your profile or
- you can upgrade immediately on your Thermomix® TM6
Can I upgrade my Cookidoo® subscription in the app?
No, this is not possible. You can upgrade on the Cookidoo® website and on the Thermomix® TM6.
How long will I have time to decide to upgrade my Cookidoo® membership?
You will have time until March 31st, 2022, this is official "Decision Day". Of course, you can also upgrade at a later point in time. But if you do not upgrade until March 31st, you will lose access to "Created Recipes" as off April 1st.
What happens if I don't upgrade my Cookidoo® membership?
If you don't upgrade your Cookidoo® membership, then you will lose access to "Created Recipes", and you won't get any future Cookidoo® features. Your next autorenewal will then be for 36 EUR and your Cookidoo® environment will stay as you know it.
Once I upgraded my Cookidoo® membership, can I go back?
No, unfortunately, this is not possible.
I don't want the update. What do I have to do?
Latest on Decision Day on March 31st, you will have to decide if you want to upgrade your Cookidoo® membership or if you'd rather not. There will be a communication that will inform you again in Cookidoo® where you will have to make a decision. If you do not want to upgrade, you do not have to do anything. Your subscription will not be upgraded without your approval.
If I decide to not upgrade my Cookidoo® membership, will my own "Created Recipes" will be deleted?
No, the recipes will not be deleted but greyed out. That means that you won't have access to them and cannot cook them if you decide not to upgrade. If you decide at a later point in time to do the upgrade, then your recipes will be there again.
If I don't upgrade, does this also mean that I won't get any software updates anymore for my Thermomix® TM6 or TM5?
Don't worry, of course you will still receive all the software updates for your Thermomix®. But it means that you won't get any new Cookidoo® features, everything that is coming new to Cookidoo®. Of course, you will still be getting all new software updates for your device. One is separated from the other.
