Why did I receive an email from Cookidoo®?
As a Thermomix® and Cookidoo® customer you have received an email from us informing you that we bring a new feature to Cookidoo® ("Created Recipes") and therefore have to change the Cookidoo® terms of service. Additionally, we informed you about a price increase planned for 2022 for your annual membership. You don't have to be active right now, it is just for your information.
What is the reason for the adaption of the terms of service?
At Vorwerk, we are constantly working on improving our recipe plattform Cookidoo® and adding new features. As we are implementing new features in the near future and therefore also needed to update the terms of service.
Within the email it says that Cookidoo® will become more expensive. Why is that?
After 7 years, we will raise the price of the Cookidoo® membership slightly by 1 Euro per month. If you would like to stay at Cookidoo® and enjoy all the new features to come, the price for the annual Cookidoo® membership will then be 48 Euros. The price change will take place in 2022 - we will keep you informed about the process in our regular communication channels.
The price will be changed from $49 to $69 in Australia.
The price will be changed from $39 to $55 in United States.
The price will be changed from $59 to $69 in Canada.
How much will the Cookidoo® membership cost in the future?
In 2022, we will implement a new price for the Cookidoo® annual membership for the first time. The price will be raised with 1 Euro per month, which means that you will pay 48 instead of 36 Euros annually for the Cookidoo® membership.
The price will be changed from $49 to $69 in Australia.
The price will be changed from $39 to $55 in United States.
The price will be changed from $59 to $69 in Canada.
When do I have to pay more?
The price increase will take place in 2022. We will keep you informed about the process in our regular communication channels.
If I accept the new terms of service, do I have to pay immediately more for my Cookidoo® membership?
No, these are two different processes. The price increase will happen in 2022 and has nothing to do with the Change of terms of service.
Is it right, that I can upload my own recipes in Cookidoo® soon?
Yes, that's right. We have listened closely to our community and we are happy to fulfill a big customer request with this new feature. Soon it will be possible to upload your own recipes to your Cookidoo® profile and cook them using the Guided Cooking feature. Until then we ask you for a little patience. In a few weeks the new functions will be ready for you. We will keep you informed about the process in our regular communication channels.
What content is offered by launching "Created Recipes"?
The new functions comprise:
- Creating own recipes, adding ingredients, steps and Thermomix® cooking settings.
- Importing recipes from Cookidoo® and modify them.
- Importing recipes from our community platform and modify them.
- A new tutorial space on Cookidoo® to help you learn how to navigate the created recipes feature.
TM5 customers: How can I use "Created Recipes"?
As a Thermomix® TM5 customer you can:
- get your own recipes into your Cookidoo® profile,
- adapt existing Cookidoo® recipes and save them additionally,
- get community recipes into your Cookidoo® profile and adapt them,
- have all these recipes for your weekly planner, your recipe lists and your shopping list available and organize your shopping.
A synchronization of these recipes on your Thermomix® TM5 is unfortunately not possible at the moment.
TM6 customers: How can I use "Created Recipes"?
As a Thermomix® TM6 customer you can:
- get your own recipes into your Cookidoo® profile,
- adapt existing Cookidoo® recipes and save them additionally,
- get community recipes into your Cookidoo® profile and adapt them,
- have all these recipes for your weekly planner, your recipe lists and your shopping list available and organize your shopping,
- have all of these reicpes on your Thermomix® TM6 and also cook them step-by-step.
